Please join us in congratulating UCI Professor Philip Felgner who is a 2022 recipient of the prestigious Robert Koch Prize. This award is in recognition of Dr. Felgner’s groundbreaking research on the development of mRNA vaccines.
Please Congratulate Rachel Sousa on her National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship
Rachel won a Graduate Research Fellowship sponsored by the National Science Foundation, a major nationwide academic achievement. Her proposal is entitled “The development of a spatiotemporal mathematical model of tumor-immune dynamics to investigate the mechanisms of tumor escape and control” and is one of only six project in Mathematical Biology funded this year in the US.
