Michael Hernandez

Overview

Michael is a graduate student in the Tenner lab where he studies complement and Alzheimer's Disease.

Research Interests

Michael's research interests include neurodegenerative diseases and inflammation. In the Tenner lab he is studying the role of distinct activation states of microglia in the progression of Alzheimer's Disease in mouse models like Tg2576, 3XTg, and Arctic. He is also interested in how complement influences microglial activation states in ageing murine brain and AD mouse models.
