Armond Franklin-Murray

Overview

Armond is a graduate student in the Lodoen lab.

Research Interests

I want to develop a comprehensive understanding of junction regulation in the vascular endothelium and elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying endothelial barrier function. For my graduate training, I am investigating how the obligate intracellular parasite Toxoplasma gondii modulates endothelial barriers as it disseminates throughout its host following infection.
